Recently I posted a video about living in Mexico permently on what I call tourist visa, also known as an FMM. Mexico has a form called an FMM, also known as a Forma Migratoria Multiple or Forma Migratoria for short. This form serves multple puposes. One of the puposes it serves is when you enter Mexico as a tourist they use this form to give you permission to enter the country for a set amount of days. In the last video I called this a tourist Visa and went on to say that it was also known as an FMM in Mexico. This confused people because in fact an FMM is not a Visa so to speak but instead a permission form to enter the country as a tourist. There is actually a distinction between a Visa and a Permit and this goes for most Countries. This video is to explain exactly what a FMM is and clarify why I call it a tourist visa to clear up any confusion it may have caused.
